2020 The Year of the Upper Room
Will you Join Us?

In the middle of a 40 day fast in September 2019 the Lord said to me, “2020 is a year of the Upper Room: a year to be set apart to Me in prayer and fasting.” 

He led me to this:

I hear the cry of my people coming up before me because of their suffering and their task masters. Therefore, I am coming down to deliver them from their suffering.”

– Exodus 3:7-10

I am calling My sons and daughters to cry out to me in 2020 from January 1 to December 31. The Year of the Upper Room; a year of Prayer and Fasting to turn the tide of a generation from the pharaohs that keep them in slavery.

In 1 Kings 18:41 Elijah said, “I hear the sound of a heavy rain coming.”

The Lord said to me, “There is a heavy rain about to come. It’s time to call a generation to prayer, fasting, worship, and the word so that we will see the greatest Awakening the church has ever seen and the release of the greatest global harvest history has ever known.”

As I continued reading, at the end of chapter 18, God highlighted when Elijah got down on the ground, put his head between his knees, and began to cry out. He said to his servant, “Go up look toward the SEA and tell me what you see” [emphasis mine]. The servant went back and forth six times and said the same thing, “I do not see anything.” 

But on the seventh time he said, “I see a cloud the size of a man’s hand rising out of the sea. 

The Holy Spirit said to me, “How do you spell ‘sea’?” 

I answered, “S-E-A.”

Again He said to me, “How do you spell ‘sea’?”

I answered , “S-E-A.”

He asked me three times. 

Then He said, “I am about to raise up a cloud out of South East Asia (SEA!) that is going to rain on the Buddhist world and release a great Awakening in the church and result in the greatest harvest of souls we’ve ever seen in Southeast Asia.” 

God began to unfold what it would look like. 

Catalyst 365 is an initiative to mobilize 365 days of prayer for the release of a global harvest. It is a year to call the Global Body of Christ to Prayer, Fasting, Worship, and Intercession. 

He said, “I am raising up a generation who will fast and not feast, contend and not complain, pray and not play for one of the greatest awakenings the church has ever experienced resulting in one of the greatest harvests the world has ever seen.” 

What could this look like?

–Daily: Spend five minutes of your time with Jesus reading through the scripture for that day.

–Daily: Mark your calendar, or set an alarm on your phone and pray when you see it each day.

–Weekly: Join a zoom room and pray together with others.

–Monthly: Pray one day a month with your small group or your family.

–Monthly: Start a monthly prayer meeting with friends and pray through the topics for the day.

-Host a Buddhist World Night at your house or your church with Asian food and a time of prayer  for the Buddhist World.

Prayer Material

We will have nine 40-day phases of prayer and fasting initiatives. 

Each 40-day phase will have a specific prayer topic and you will receive an email and a text with the prayer topic and scripture on each day that you sign up. 

Phase 1: Hearts of the people (Jer. 24:7)

Phase 2: Revive us again (Ps. 85:6)

Phase 3: Laborers into the Harvest we partner with Lou Engle with the Jesus Fast (Mt. 4/ Mt. 9).

Phase 4: Praying into the Harvest itself asking the Lord to put in the sickle (Jn. 4:35-38/ Acts 1:8). 

Phase 5: Keeping the Harvest being reaped GO2020  (Mt. 13:18-23).

Phase 6: Raising up disciples (Mt. 28:16-20).

Phase 7: Churches being planted (Mt. 16:18)

Phase 8: Leaders being developed (2 Tim. 2:2)

Phase 9: That the glory of the Lord, His Goodness and His Name, will fill the whole earth (Hab. 2:14 and Ps. 72:19)

2020 is a KAIROS moment in time. We are on the brink of the greatest awakening the church has ever experienced, resulting in the greatest global harvest the world has ever seen.
